When it comes to playing Mafia Wars, you can start out as Mogul, Maniac or Fearless. You cannot change your character type later so choose wisely.
The Mogul will generate cash every 54 minutes instead of every 60 minutes. The Mogul is also the only character type that can be a bagman. When being a bagman while doing a job, you’ll get chance of getting double pay.
The Maniac gets an energy increase every 3 minutes instead of 5. Later, you’ll also get to be button man, which gives you a chance of winning every fight you initiate.
As a fearless character your health regenerate at a faster pace. Your special ability is Wheel Man, which gives you a chance of doing jobs without spending any energy. High-level jobs can cost as much as 60 energy points so this can be a very useful ability.
In the first levels, I recommend that you only spend your skills points to increase your energy. Since energy is the factor that decides how fast you level, it’s good to have many energy points.
When you start to play the game you can do different jobs. In the beginning, just do the ones that are available, later you should focus on doing jobs where you’ll get more in return than you need to spend. E.g. Auto theft cost 7 energy to perfom, but you’ll get 8 xp points in return, plus $5000. Compare that to mugging that costs 1 energy point and will only give you 1 xp point and $300.

Depending on whether you go for money or experience, these jobs are best to do:
Level 1-4 (Street Thug):
Experience: Auto Theft
Money: Collect on a Loan
Level 5-8 (Associate):
Experience: Bank Heist
Money: Jewelry Store Job

Experience AND Money: Museum Break In
Level 13-17 (Enforcer):
Experience: Run Illegal Poker Games

- While reading the book I noticed a few graphic glitches. I hope these gets corrected in future versions.
- I can be a bit difficult to find your way through the guide, I would really wish that the TOC were hyperlinked so I didn’t have to spend time looking for a specific page number.
Pros:
- The price is really great, for less than $30 you get an ebook full of tactics, hacks and strategies.
- The leveling guide is the best I’ve seen so far, in the Dominate Mafia Wars Guide you’ll find a very simple, but yet very advanced, and unique system that’ll help you leveling and earn money fast.
- You’ll learn tactics to blow away anyone who dares to attack you. This is the best method I’ve seen yet.
- A whole section of the book is dedicated to godfather items. I haven’t seen this anywhere else.
